Captain Terms – Bike Taxi
These are the driver-side terms and conditions
(T&C) governing bike taxi operations via
Hike Cab. This document sets rules and responsibilities for
Captains using the Hike Cab platform.
1. Eligibility & Onboarding

Must register on the Hike Cab Captain App and complete
document upload and verification, including
license, RC, insurance, etc.

Vehicle model requirements apply, typically including
post-2010 bikes.
2. Insurance & Safety

Safety gear, including helmets, is
mandatory as applicable under law and Hike Cab safety
requirements.

Captains must maintain valid insurance policies and all
other legally required vehicle documents.
3. Behavior & Compliance
Captains must maintain professional behaviour, adhere to
applicable traffic laws, and ensure passenger safety at all
times.
4. Payment, Fees & Cancellation

Earnings are credited to a Captain wallet and may be
redeemed to eligible bank accounts.

The platform handles applicable cancellation rules.
No fee applies if cancelled within
2 minutes; after that, a minimum fare
penalty applies.
5. Grievance & Notices

Hike Cab may issue updates and notices through app
notifications or email.

There is a dedicated Captain support channel for issues
such as ride-fare disputes, customer quality concerns,
or app-related issues.
6. Termination & Liability
Hike Cab reserves the right to suspend or terminate any
Captain's access for violations, unsafe
behaviour, or breach of these Terms.
